THE HEADS UP STRATEGY

One of the more commonly played cards game is the Texas Hold’em Poker in both online poker rooms and at land based casinos.

This variant of poker can be played with many other people, as for instance in tables of 9 or 10 players, but it can also be played between two players only. This modality is known as Heads Up.
However, for players who are not used to play only against one person, this modality can be a bit hard at the beginning, but with a bit of practice is easy to get used to it.
In order to obtain good results when playing this modality, the player strategy must be a bit aggressive and he must take part in almost all the hands in order to accumulate enough chips. Moreover, having into consideration that there are only two players in the poker table, they should be extremely careful with their body language, to avoid transmitting information to their opponents.

If you are not familiar yet with this modality but you really want to practice it, a good starting point would be to take part in as many Heads Up tournaments as possible, and a good way to do so is taking advantage of the great platform offered by the online poker rooms.
